The Challenge: : The Business Line head was responsible for expanding this leadership & delivering exponential growth and profitability by strategizing and implementing business plans. This position was a key contributor towards the achievement of the company’s strategic, operational targets of Softlines business in India. The nature of the search was such that was required to look for exceptional talent who had prior experience of running a traditional business having handled P&L of a certain size. Moreover, the company wanted to hire talent not necessarily from soft lines category as the role was look at someone who could nurture and evangelize the business interests, like the way it is done in FMCG or Consumer Durables Businesses.
The Solution: NextPlay did an extensive search mapping out emerging and young leadership that was available in product categories ranging from instant noodles to Computer peripherals or even fast-moving E-Commerce categories.
